PIONEER STEEL BUILDING: FROM PURCHASE TO COMPLETION

THE JOURNEY FROM ORDER TO FINISHED BUILD

At Pioneer Steel Building, we believe in transparency and reliability. When you purchase a steel building from us, you’re not just buying a structure — you’re embarking on a journey. Here’s what you can expect between the moment you place your order and the completion of your build.

THE PURCHASE

After you’ve selected your building and finalized your order, our customer support team promptly reviews all details with you to ensure accuracy. This includes confirming your design preferences, site requirements, and any customizations you might need.

DESIGN & ENGINEERING

Once your order is confirmed, our engineering team gets to work on your custom-building plans. We provide you with detailed drawings and specifications tailored to your needs and local building codes. You’ll have opportunities to review and approve the plans before manufacturing begins.

MANUFACTURING & DELIVERY

We keep you updated on timelines and arrange delivery to your site at a time that suits you. The manufacturing process begins immediately after your approval and deposit. Using high-quality Canadian steel, your building components are fabricated to precision. All shipments are tracked and insured for peace of mind.

OFFLOADING THE BUILDING UPON ARRIVAL

While many clients choose to manually offload smaller structures, larger systems typically require specialized equipment to ensure safe and efficient handling.

DELIVERY OPTIONS

We are able to ship most prefabricated metal building kits within several weeks of order placement. As a leading steel building manufacturer in Canada, we offer shipping services nationwide. We advise arranging for assistance at the delivery site to facilitate unloading of your prefab metal building.

For customers located near our production facility, there is an option to pick up your prefab steel building directly, thereby eliminating shipping charges. Please notify your dealer should you choose this option; they will be pleased to provide detailed directions.

WHAT SHOULD I DO IF UPON DELIVERY, PARTS OF THE BUILDING ARE MISSING OR DAMAGED?

At Pioneer Steel, we conduct thorough inspections of our buildings at three different stages before shipment to ensure your complete satisfaction. In the rare event that you find any parts missing or damaged, please contact your dealer immediately to report the issue. Pioneer allows 30 days to check for shortages. Please contact us within that timeline and we will promptly send you the replacement parts.

SITE PREPARATION

While your building is being manufactured, you’ll need to prepare your site. This includes clearing the area, laying the foundation, and ensuring access for delivery. Our team provides guidance and support to make this step as smooth as possible.

ASSEMBLY & CONSTRUCTION

Upon arrival, your building comes with a clear assembly instruction manual and all necessary hardware. Many customers choose to assemble the building themselves, but professional installation services are also available. Our support team is always ready to assist during construction, ensuring a seamless build.

Completion & Support

Once your steel building is complete, our relationship doesn’t end. We offer ongoing customer support, warranty coverage, and maintenance tips to help you get the most out of your investment. Pioneer Steel is committed to your satisfaction from start to finish.
