Our system features 2’ wide by 10’ long panels weighing only 40 pounds each, making them easy to lift and manoeuvre. Assembly is simplified further by the use of a single bolt size throughout construction. Each kit includes a straightforward instruction manual, and our factory-direct support line ensures expert guidance is always available when you need it.

Our engineering team has devoted countless hours to perfecting a building system that’s not only robust and weather-resistant, but also practical for the everyday Canadian. We use standardized Galvalume PlusTM steel panels—measuring 2 feet by 10 feet and weighing 40 lbs—and a single type of bolt for simplicity. Accessories are designed to fit seamlessly, making your experience smooth from start to finish.

EQUIPMENT AND MATERIALS NEEDED

The list of materials and equipment shown below includes the equipment we recommend for the average installation. Special conditions or non standard buildings may require more or other equipment. Your dealer may be able to give you advice, or to refer you to an experienced contractor.

The materials listed are NOT supplied with the building. Most can be purchased at a hardware store. Some of the equipment can often be rented at reasonable rates.

EQUIPMENT

  • Hard hats and work gloves
  • Tape measures, 50 or 100 ft. and 10 ft.
  • Wheelbarrow (contractors' size) and shovels
  • Trowels, wood float and spirit level
  • Builders' wire for stringlines
  • Handsaw, hacksaw, power (circular) saw and saber saw
  • Hammers and nails
  • Crowbar
  • Electric drill, 3/8" minimum, variable speed
  • Drill bits, 3/8", for sheet steel
  • Electric impact wrench with 1/2" hex or 9/16" square sockets
  • 1/2" and 9/16" wrenches
  • Extension ladders and/or rope ladders
  • Tapered drift pins and plumb bobs
  • Scaffolding and stepladders, rope

MATERIALS

  • Lumber, 2"x 4" or 2"x 3" and 1"x 3"
  • Plywood, 3/4" and 1/2"
  • Steel reinforcing bars no. 10M, 15M and 20M (3, 4 and 6)
  • Steel tie wire, 16 gauge, black
  • Welded steel wire mesh, 6"x 6" by no. 6/6 gauge
  • Sand, granular fill, crushed stone
  • Polyethylene sheeting, 6 mils
  • Steel strapping and wire loops

You may not need all equipment or material shown above. Much depends on the site and the type of foundation you want, as well as on price and availability. Local conditions may require other specifications.
